Sixty-seven Mozambican public prosecutors are benefiting from a training course supported by the Portuguese Centre for Judicial Studies (CEJ), a press release sent to Lusa on Tuesday reads.
The course, taught by Portuguese specialists, lasts three months and covers topics related to the competence of public prosecutors in criminal, civil, labor and family law.
“Designed specifically for prosecutors of Mozambique, this course includes theoretical and practical components, taking into account the current law in the country,” the statement reads, noting that “the assessment of trainees will be made according to strict criteria”.
The course, which is being held at the attorney general’s office in Maputo, is directed by Portuguese prosecutor Helena Leitão.
