The Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) in Cabo Delgado have shot and killed two men involved in an illegal arms deal in Montepuez, one of them a member of the Armed Defence and Security Forces (FADM).
The men were killed during a PRM incursion aimed at thwarting an arms sale by the gang. There was an exchange of fire, injuring one PRM agent.
A local police source told TVM that the FADM member had been charged with the sale of firearms and sentenced last year, Folha de Maputo reports.
