Mozambique’s PRM said on Tuesday that it will continue its operations to “ensure order and safety” of the population in central Mozambique after Renamo leader Afonso Dhlakama announced a temporary ceasefire .
“We have taken note of this agreement, but the role of the police will continue naturally. We will continue to stand firm,” said PRM General Command spokesman Inácio Dina at the weekly police activity review press conference.
