The Police in Mozambique have raided a clandestine garage used to keep stolen vehicles in the cities of Maputo and Matola.
The garage in question had been operating for slightly over a year.

Maputo police spokesman Lionel Muchina said the clandestine garage was discovered through a complaint.
Also on Friday, the police also presented three people posing as inspectors of economic activities.
The three were in possession of four thousand meticais gained through extortion from an Asian merchant who operates in Benfica.
