A group of Filipino entrepreneurs is examining the possibility of investing in banana production and processing in Gaza province.
Seventeen businessmen have been in Mozambique since Sunday, with the purpose of establishing partnerships with local entrepreneurs and defining investment strategies.
The ambassador of the Philippines to Mozambique, Gerald Angels explained that the most important aspect of the investment was the generation of jobs.
The group, which is going home on Tuesday, made contacts to establish partnerships in the areas of furniture, consumer goods, food processing and packaging equipment, pharmacy and cosmetics, as well as business solutions and information and communication technologies.
