South Africa to probe alleged suppression of justice in apartheid-era killings
Scores of people are trapped following the collapse of a multi-storey building under construction in the South African city of George, about 450km (279 miles) east of Cape Town.
The building in central George collapsed just after 14:00 local time (12:00 GMT) with about 70 construction crew on site.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to search for survivors.
City officials say over 20 people have so far been rescued and taken to nearby hospitals.
More emergency teams are expected to arrive from neighbouring municipalities to aid in the recue effort for those who remain trapped.
The authorities are trying to establish what caused the building to collapse.
