TAP Adjusts flight operations to Mozambique indefinitely

Pemba City Council represented by the Mayor of the City Council, Florete Simba Motarua, and Aberdeen City Council, represented by Lord Provost of the City, Barney Crockett, on Tuesday virtually signed, in Pemba and in Aberdeen, the extension of the existing memorandum of understanding between the two cities for the next three (3) coming years.
The MoU falls under the scope of the friendship and cooperation relations existing between the two cities in the spheres of economic growth, capacity building opportunities and business development, and is based on mutual respect taking into account the existing cooperation ties between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Mozambique.
With this memorandum of understanding, without waiving other areas considered important by both parties, the continuation of actions and projects related to the social and economic growth of the cities of Pemba and Aberdeen is expected.
The Secretary of State of Cabo Delgado Armindo Saúl Atelela Ngunga and the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom in Mozambique NneNne Iwuji-EmE witnessed the signing of the extension of this MoU.
