Asphalting works on the road linking the district headquarters of Mágoè to the administrative post of Mocumbura, Tete province, have been paralysed for more than four years.
The section of road concerned is forty-five kilometres long.
National Roads Administration Tete delegate Mateus Espírito Santos has said that the stoppage is a consequence of the economic and financial crisis that the country is currently going through.
