Operation “Comb” nets 150 homemade weapons in Vilankulo

More than 150 hunting mostly homemade weapons have been seized by the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) in the Vilankulo district in Inhambane province since last November. Of these, three are pistols seized from gangs who specialize in theft.
According to the head of operations, Operation Comb aims to combat and discourage the manufacture of homemade weapons and fight the poaching that is rife within the district.
