Mozambique: CCMUSA strengthens partnership with the Ministry of Economy during official visit

Millennium bim’s People Grow programme is aimed at young talent in higher education institutions and aims to attract, welcome and integrate new professionals into Millennium bim’s culture and market practices. Applications for the 4th edition of People Grow are open until 1 December.
The programme lasts for 12 months from January 2019, with rotations through different areas of the group, and includes training at Millennium bim Academy (MBA).
For one year, the bank offers young people a unique opportunity for professional and personal development based on a culture of flexibility and integration. The goal of the initiative is to enable participants to acquire a complete overview of the banking business by combining real-life learning with classroom training.
At the Millennium bim Academy (MBA), participants will have monthly challenges and projects to develop, some with exposure at top management level. The candidates selected will be trained by professionals with wide experience, including the heads of different areas of the bank, and will have mentoring support.
During November, Millennium bim held several lectures at various universities in Mozambique promoting the programme. So far, lectures have been held at the Pedagogical University, São Tomás University in Mozambique, at the Higher Institute of Transport and Communications, at the Higher Institute of Sciences and Technologies of Mozambique and at the Eduardo Mondlane University. In this way, Millennium bim strengthens its connection to universities while attracting the best talent for its structure.
To date, the programme already has more than 2,000 applications, who will be subject to a selection process which includes an interview.

Students who participated in these lectures see the programme as a unique opportunity, as Millennium bim does not require previous experience but intends to identify and develop existing talent.
