Comedians deny attempting to enter Mozambique on tourist visas

The Camões – Portuguese Cultural Centre in Maputo and the Municipal Directorate of Culture of
Lisbon City Hall have announced that applications for the 4th edition of the Contemporary Art Programme Residency in Lisbon (Visual Arts, Photography) will open on November 2.
The Lisbon residency will last from May 1 to 31, 2018, and is intended for visual artists or photographers of Mozambican nationality or who have lived in Mozambique for more than ten years and who will have already held at least one solo exhibition when applying for the program.
Following in the footsteps of Félix Mula (1st edition), Euridice Kala (2nd edition) and Mário Macilau (3rd edition), Mozambican artists are invited to compete for this opportunity to take up an artistic residency in Lisbon.
Regulations are available for consultation at the Cultural Centres in Maputo and Beira, as well as on the Camões – Portuguese Cultural Centre website http://camoes-ccpmocambique.co.mz/ and Lisbon City Hall www.cm-lisboa.pt.
Applications must be submitted by November 22 in writing at the Camões – Portuguese Cultural Centre, Av. Julius Nyerere, 720, Maputo.
