Mozambique: Six Pakistani citizens detained in Vanduzi, Manica province

One person died and seven others were injured after a slab of a building under construction in the Maquinino neighbourhood of Beira city, Sofala province, collapsed this Thursday.
All the victims were working on the project and were hit by the concrete slab that fell from the infrastructure.
The injured were taken to Beira Central Hospital, and are said to be out of danger.
The provincial chief labour inspector in Sofala, João Macanga, who visited the site, announced the suspension of activities in the contract, and said that an investigation was underway to determine the cause of the incident.
Governor of Sofala, Lourenço Bulha, who was also at the site, mandated strict inspection of all such works in order to avoid accidents at work.
