President Nyusi is making a presidential visit to the province of Nampula from today, Friday, until the 28th, starting in Nacala district, where he will lead the Africa Day celebrations commemorating the 55th anniversary of the creation of the African Union, under the motto “Winning the fight against corruption: a sustainable path for the development of Africa” in the company of the country’s accredited diplomatic corps.
While in Nampula, the president will also visit Mogincual, Larde, Meconta and Eráti districts for meetings with local governments and society stakeholders, popular rallies and visits to undertakings of economic and social interest.
President Nyusi is accompanied on his visit to Nampula by the Ministers of State Administration and Public Service, Carmelita Namashulua; of Health, Nazira Abdula; Transport and Communications, Carlos Mesquita; of Industry and Commerce, Ragendra de Sousa; Deputy Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Víctor Tauacale; Governor of Gaza Province, Stella Zeca; Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Bernardino Rafael; and staff of the presidency and other state institutions.
