Mozambique: Turkish ambassador seeks 'protection' for investments amid protests

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nyeleti Mondlane, is today taking part in an Italy-Africa ministerial conference in Rome.
The meeting will seek to identity strategic cooperation partnerships between Africa and Italy in the field of economic development, especially in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, small and medium-sized enterprises, social and environmental sustainability and peace and security.
The visit to Rome is an opportunity for the Deputy Minister to reaffirm and consolidate bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation between Mozambique and Italy, as well as to share experiences in agro-industry, energy and the development of small and medium enterprises.
