Nine previously grounded LAM aircraft are now operational

After repeated malfunctions on LAM aircraft, which in some cases led to the delay and even cancellation of flights, company management yesterday announced that the situation was now normalised, with nine out of its aircraft operational.
Management said it was not easy to maintain an airline in a time of crisis, but it was doing its best to ensure safe air transport.
Frequent faults at LAM, the only airline providing scheduled domestic passenger flights, had caused the airline for a time to operate with only four aircraft.
