Mozambique Elections: At least three protesters killed in Maringué
The governor of Niassa is urging reinforcement of surveillance on the border between Mozambique and Tanzania, which has recently been violated by illegal foreigners on a visit to the Sanga district on Friday, expressing concern about the attitude of the Tanzanian authorities towards illegal foreigners.
“Our authorities have done an excellent job in detaining illegal immigrants, but another part is missing. We would like the Tanzanian authorities, after alerting us and us arresting them, to accept them back to send them to their countries of origin. What has instead been happening is that after their arrest, they do not collaborate in their repatriation by the same route, which costs our country a lot,” Arlindo Chilundo said.
