Mozambique: President Nyusi launches 2024-25 agriculture campaign

The provinces of Maputo and Niassa could contribute around two billion meticais (US$31.3 million) to state revenues this year from the export of macadamia nuts to South Africa and China, Radio Mozambique reports.
Macadamia is a high-yield crop increasingly cultivated in Mozambique.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries expects to see exports of just over 6,000 tons of macadamia in the current harvest, ANuts Production and Development director Feliza Macome said.
