Mozambique: Flood warnings for Gaza province

With the Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday approving the decree creating the National Agency for Environmental Quality Control, poor management of solid waste from industrial and commercial activities will from now on attract punitive measures in Mozambique. The matter will now go to the Assembly of the Republic for approval.
The new institution will be responsible for overseeing the management of industrial waste and will also cover commercial services, strengthening mechanisms to mitigate action that threaten the environment.
The government also intends to expand the inspection activities of the Institute of Economic Activities to several new areas, with the exception of mining, for which it was necessary to amend the decree creating the body.
And after more than half a century, the country will now have a specific legal regime for the establishment and operation of foundations, clarifying their status in the country.
In the education sector, the government has scheduled the Grade 12 exams for 17 to 21 July, Approximately 58,400 students will sit the exams.
