New competencies for two ministries – Nyusi

President Nyusi has redefined by decree, the nature, powers and competencies of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in the areas of road, rail, waterway, air transport and port and airport infrastructure, communications and meteorology.

In a separate legal provision, President Nyusi ordered the introduction of amendments to Presidential Decree No. 17/2015 of 25 March, which defines the powers and competencies of the Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries.
