National Geographic has listed Mozambique among 28 countries recommended for 2019 visits, placing it in position 20.
This means the country is in the top 20 list.
The Gorongosa National Park is touted as the reason for tourists visiting Mozambique.
National Geographic highlights Mozambique’s efforts to revitalise the Park over the past decade and suggests that tourists visiting Gorongosa can enjoy large wildlife areas.
The country has received prominence in the main national and international magazines, websites and programmes, highlighting its tourism and all the effort that has been undertaken by the executive to improve the sector.
Recently, the country adopted the Border Visa, opened its airspace while operators have improved their services, among other aspects seen to have contributed to the boom of the tourism sector in recent years.
