Mozambique: Executive approves 100-day governance action plan

The governor of Manica province in central Mozambique is beginning a working visit to the province of Manicaland today at the invitation of Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe.
A press release from governor Alberto Mondlane’s office said that the Zimbabwean president hoped to strengthen the friendship between the two populations and cooperation between the provinces in various areas of activity.
Manicaland is located in the eastern part of Zimbabwe and borders Mozambique via the Machipanda border in the central province of Manica. The two groups of people have strong relations of friendship dating back to the struggle for independence.
The press releases also notes that this is the first time since the independence of the two countries that President Mugabe has invited a Manica leader to join his delegation on a working visit.
In Manicaland, President Robert Mugabe has visits to various socio-economic establishments, inauguration of enterprises and a popular rally in the town of Mutare scheduled.
