As Mozambique prepares for Feira de Emprego 2025, the MozYouth Foundation announces a major milestone in its national internship program: over 2,000 young Mozambicans have been placed in internships across multiple industries, with more than 60% of participants transitioning into full-time employment.
This structured program connects youth to companies through a tailored process that includes pre-selection and candidate matching, behavioral and cognitive assessments, interview preparation and coaching, and ongoing mentorship and support.
“Internships are a key entry point into the workforce and, when done right, they lead to lasting change,” said Daniela Timmich, Program Manager at the MozYouth Foundation. “We’re focused on helping young people access real employment, not just experience.”
MozYouth to offer on-the-spot support at Feira de Emprego 2025
MozYouth will take center stage at Feira de Emprego 2025, Mozambique’s largest youth job fair, held on August 8, 2025, at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Center in Maputo. The event is co-organized with the National Employment Institute (INEP) and SDO Moçambique.
With over 60 companies participating, the Feira will offer thousands of youth a direct gateway to internships, entry-level jobs and career guidance and skills development.
At the MozYouth stand, visitors will have the opportunity to submit their CVs and express interest in available internship placements. In addition, MozYouth advisors will offer feedback on CVs and interview preparation, along with practical advice on professional presentation and workplace readiness.
“We encourage all young people to come ready,” added Timmich. “Bring your CVs, ask questions, and take part in the tools we’re offering. This is a great opportunity to build your confidence and prepare for real-world job interviews.”
Feira de Emprego 2025 is free and open to all youth, with more than 60 companies participating. MozYouth invites students, jobseekers, and aspiring professionals to visit the stand on August 8 and take the first step toward their future careers.
