Mozambique: HCB seeks partners for its northern power plant and solar power plant

EDM (Electricidade de Mozambique) stands to make more than US$24 million in the coming years from the implementation of a solar panels project in Mocuba, Zambézia province.
The figures were revealed on Monday, October 31, by the chairman of the EDM Board of Directors, Mateus Magala, during the signing of the project financing agreement with the Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister, Borge Brende.
According to the EDM chairman, the Mocuba solar panels project, worth more than US$45 million, will be able to supply the power grid with more than forty megavolts.
