Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has appointed Alberto Maverengue to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mozambique to France, APA learnt here on Thursday´Maverengue replaces Alexandre Zandamela who returns home pending another appointment.
Until his latest appointment, Maverengue served as director for Africa and Middle East in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
He was in charge of all cooperation issues between Maputo and other African and Middle Eastern capitals.
