Mozambique’s Historical Archives needs half a million dollars for conservation

The Mozambique Historical Archives urgently needs US$500,000 for conservation and migration of documents.
Speaking in Maputo on the conservation and management of archives in the country, Director Joel das Neves said that most of the documents were in poor condition and that the institution did not have the means to address or even mitigate the problem.
Eduardo Mondlane University is currently seeking US$20 million dollars to build and equip a new headquarters of the institution.
