Mozambique: Administrative Tribunal wants tax and customs courts in all provinces

The country’s First Lady, Isaura Nyusi, has called on all Mozambicans to strengthen their contribution to assuring that every child, with or without disabilities, has a dignified life in a world where children are the hope for the future.
The appeal is contained in the message of the wife of the President of the Republic, on the occasion of the African Child Day celebrated this Thursday.
Isaura Nyusi says children, in their eyes and their smiles, express in a special way their hope for and confidence in a promising future for Mozambique and the African continent.
“We want, today, to send out our greetings to all children, to their parents, their educators and all those who daily contribute in diverse ways to children’s welfare” reads the First Lady’s message.
“Unfortunately, not all children are able to celebrate today equally joyfully. On our continent, thousands of children do not fully enjoy the exercise of their childhood rights, having neither protection nor the means to grow and develop in freedom and dignity, according to the principles of the Declaration of Children’s Rights,” she adds.
According to the president’s wife, June 16 should be a moment for reflecting on the rights of children who need special attention, such as those with albinism, who, due to their condition, are being killed or maimed across the continent, in the mistaken belief that their body parts confer magical powers.
