Mozambique: Cabo Delgado ruby miner hands US$285.5 million to state since 2012 - report

Profits recorded by the Mozambican Hydrocarbon Company (Companhia Moçambicana de Hidrocarbonetos, CMH) during the period from July 2015 to July 2016 were down by approximately 54%. This is according to the head of CMH, Joaquim Caronga.
Caronga pointed out that the fall in profits is mainly due to the decrease in oil prices on the international market.
