An instrument approved by the 23rd Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers will enable Mozambique’s Road Administration Authority (ANE) to penalize road users whose actions contribute to their degradation.
According to a communiqué cited by TVM, the Cabinet session approved the revision of Decree 13/2007, of May 30, which created the ANE, adjusting the body’s attributes, competencies and functioning.
The new instrument confers on the ANE the power to penalise users whose actions contribute to the degradation of the roads, allowing for the preservation of their partial protection areas.
