Mozambique: National defence as a strategic foundation for sustainable development

The Zambézia Provincial Assembly (AP) appointed the members of the board and working committees for the current legislative cycle, in its second extraordinary session held this Monday (March 3).
This is the decentralized Commission for Appointments and Governance Affairs; Planning and finance matters; Agriculture and Local Development and the Committee on Economic, Social Affairs and the Environment.
Meanwhile, the governor of Zambézia province, Pio Matos, called on the working groups formed to bring to the debate proposals for local solutions to the province’s problems.
The leader called for cohesion among all members of the legislative bodies in order to be aligned with everything that aims to develop the province, without party colors.
In turn, the president of the Provincial Assembly, Hilário António, said that with the constitution of the board and the working groups, all the conditions have been created for the full functioning of the Provincial Assembly.
The second session was attended by the Secretary of State for Zambézia Province, Avelino Muchine and other guests.
