Mozambique | Weather Alert: INAM Issues strong wind warning for Maputo and Gaza

Mozambique’s National Institute for Meteorology (INAM) has issued a warning for strong winds with gusts of up to 60 km/h, expected to begin late this afternoon in the provinces of Maputo and Gaza.
In Maputo province, the alert covers the districts of Matutuíne, Manhiça, and Marracuene, as well as the cities of Maputo and Matola.
In Gaza province, severe weather may impact the districts of Bilene, Limpopo, Chongoene, and the city of Xai-Xai.
These strong winds are also expected to affect maritime navigation, with waves reaching heights of up to 3.5 meters during this period.
