Mozambique: Water supply restrictions in Maputo, Matola and Boane

Águas da Região Metropolitana de Maputo has just announced that, due to preventive maintenance work on the power line that feeds the Umbeluzi Water Treatment Plant (ETA) in Maputo province, normal water distribution will be limited this Wednesday, 22 October.
During the period of the intervention, consumers in the cities of Maputo, Matola, Matola Rio and the town of Boane will face the interruption in water distribution from 9:00 a.m. onwards, with gradual resumption of supply from 3:00 p.m..
Full normalisation of the service is expected to occur on Thursday, 23 October.
