Mozambique: State to sell 91% of its shares in LAM - Rádio Moçambique

The Mozambican parliament on Wednesday ( 22-05) elected the ad hoc commission to guide the selection process of members of the Supervisory Committee of the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Mozambique.
The commission is made up of 11 members representing the three parliamentary benches. It is led by Frelimo deputy Vitória Diogo, assisted by José Samo Gudo from Renamo. The MDM is represented by Fernando Bismarque.
The ad hoc commission must present a report on its work regarding the selection process by June 30, 2024.
The wealth fund Supervisory Committee will be composed of nine members representing civil society, academics, professional orders and religious associations, to be appointed by parliament. The Supervisory Committee will be mandated to monitor the management of the Sovereign Wealth Fund, which is the responsibility of the Bank of Mozambique (central bank).
