Mozambique: Two Peace Room election observers detained in Cahora Bassa, Tete – Sala da Paz

Two Peace Room electoral observers have been detained in Cahora Bassa, Tete province.
They were removed [ by police] at the time of the vote counting simply because, in the morning, they had not presented themselves at the District STAE.
The two observers are currently [being held] at the Chitima police station.
The Peace Room is triggering the necessary mechanisms to restore them to freedom.
