Two five-year-old girls have disappeared without trace from the Khongolote neighbourhood, Matola municipality, leaving their families fearing they have been abducted.
For more than five days, their mothers have been combing the neighbourhoods in Matola municipality for news of Yumina Marrambe and Mimy Chaúque, two cousins aged five, who went to buy sweets at their neighbour’s house.
They never came back, to the dismay of Dona Maida, who had left her daughter at her uncles’ house.
Concern in the neighbourhood is rising, because the pair often played outside together or went to buy something, always returning home safely.
Their disappearance has been reported to the police.
