Aware of the growing importance and urgency of implementing good practices in sustainability, as well as the pioneering role that companies play in raising awareness among customers and communities, TVCABO has launched the campaign “Called to Protect the Environment.”
The campaign includes the return of the following equipment, provided they are in good condition and functioning, although no longer used by customers:
Nagra Box (HD) + Irdeto Box (HD) + Pace Box (HD) + IPTV Box;
GPON Modem Wireless/Normal.
All customers with an active or disconnected TVCABO contract are covered. The return must be made at a TVCABO store which, after checking the condition of the equipment, will allocate a balance value according to the conditions of the current campaign.
According to the company’s general director, Humberto Barros, “At TVCABO, we are committed to assuming our social and corporate responsibility and contributing to a more sustainable world. Through this action, we encourage our customers to actively participate in reducing electronic waste and, at the same time, be rewarded for their involvement.” He also added that TVCABO Mozambique is increasingly focused on solutions that promote circular economy and contribute to effective sustainability practices.
This initiative aims to promote the return of TVCABO equipment that is no longer used by those who own them, with a monetary reward for those who do so.
Circular economy is a strategic concept based on reduction, recovery, and reuse, allowing societies to minimize their environmental impact. By promoting the reuse of equipment in perfect working and conservation condition, TVCABO puts its social and corporate responsibility at the forefront, contributing to a reduction in the environmental impact associated with the production of new equipment, notably delaying the use of natural resources and reducing waste, according to a statement from the company.
