Mozambique: ANE closes Incomati river bridge to traffic

The Judicial Court of Cabo Delgado begins tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3, the trial of 189 citizens, who stand accused of “being part of the group of insurgents which, for a year, has carried out attacks on villages of districts of that northern province of the country,” O País reports.
According to information from official sources at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Cabo Delgado, the trial will take place in an improvised room in the Mieze semi-open penitentiary in the Metuge district, of Cabo Delgado, “due to the high number of defendants indicted.”
Fifty defendants are Tanzanian citizens.
