Vehicle circulation on the bridge over the Monapo River, in the district of the same name, is restricted due to a landslide on both sides of the infrastructure.
A team from the National Roads Administration (ANE) is on site carrying out minor interventions to ensure that the fury of the waters does not wash away the bridge that connects the coastal districts of the province.
“Notícias” witnessed on the ground ANE’s concern regarding the bridge, at a time when rain continues to fall in the province.
Large vehicles pass over the bridge, however, at this moment, traffic on National Road Number Twelve (N12) is interrupted for all types of vehicles.
