On Wednesday 10 traffic was reopened on National Road Number 380 , which connects the South and North of Cabo Delgado. The road had suffered three blockages two months ago in the village of Miangaleua, preventing vehicle traffic.
The situation caused a crisis in the supply of essential goods in the districts of Muidumbe, Mueda, Nangade, Mocímboa da Praia, and Palma, all in the northern region of Cabo Delgado.
The reopening of traffic on that highway was witnessed by the Minister of Public Works, Housing, and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita, who is currently on a working visit to this part of the country.
