Mozambique: State-owned pharmaceutical company reports tenfold rise in 2024 profits
Mozambique’s Communications Regulatory Authority (INCM) on 25 October will organise an auction for the attribution of rights of use for spectrum in the 800, 1,800 and 2,600 MHz bands. Interested bidders have 60 days to apply for participating in the tender.
The starting price for lots in the 800 MHz band is USD 15 million; for the 1800 MHz band USD 30 million; and for the 2.6 MHz band USD 15 million. The spectrum will be offered in blocks of 2×5 MHz, with five lots in the 800 MHz band, six lots in the 1,800 MHz band and nine lots in the 2.6 GHz band.
Mozambique has three mobile operators: Vodacom, state-owned Mcel and Viettel-backed Movitel.
