Just In: Mozambique beat Uganda 3-1, win takes the Mambas to the top of Group C

Mozambique’s National Swimming Team is participating in the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, from this Friday (14-07).
Mozambique will be represented by three athletes: Matthew Lawrence, Justino Pale and Denise Donelli, respectively from the Barracudas, Golfinhos and Tubarões clubs in Maputo.
The competition offers preparation for qualifying for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games, and will cover five modalities: swimming, artistic swimming, water polo, diving and open water.
Up for grabs in Fukuoka until 30 July will be 75 gold medals, 42 of them in swimming, 60 Olympic places in diving, and two of the oldest world records in the sector.
