The third edition of the festival will be held on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of April. On the opening day, the event will be held at the Fundação Fernando Leite Couto in the city of Maputo, starting at 6 p.m., featuring a conversation with cultural project manager Pablo Ribeiro and actors Yuck Miranda, Maria Clotilde, and Rita Couto.
Under the theme “Creation and production in the performing arts: challenges of limitations vs. resources,” the session will be open to actors, directors, and arts enthusiasts in general, in what is supposed to be an attempt to find answers to the essential questions affecting the theatrical and artistic sector in Mozambique.
On the second day, April 27th, at 6:30 p.m., the third edition of the Festival de Teatro Cenas will move to the Centro Cultural Sabura, also in the city of Maputo, to present what the organization describes as a marathon of performances, featuring a poem by Fernando Leite Couto, a pen, and a pair of boots as props.
The third edition of the Festival de Teatro Cenas will conclude on the 28th, with improvisation shorts taking place at the Fundação Fernando Leite Couto, starting at 5 p.m., and facilitated by actress and director Maria Atália.
