Mozambique: The National Company of Singing and Dance will present the ballet “Cry of the Miombo Forest” in Washington

The National Company of Singing and Dance will present the ballet “Cry of the Miombo Forest” in Washington, United States of America, this Wednesday. The presentation of the ballet will take place after the adoption of a commitment letter, defining the mechanisms for the allocation of resources for the implementation of the Miombo initiative.

Cláudio Afonso, the National Director of Forests, told Radio Mozambique that the Washington letter will be adopted by the signatory governments of the Maputo Declaration and development agencies.

Mozambican statesman Filipe Nyusi is already in Washington to participate in the International Conference on Sustainable and Integrated Management of the Miombo Forest.
