Tecnica Industrial, the automotive company of JFS, a Mozambican-owned group founded on the island of Mozambique in 1897, has just achieved a significant milestone in its growth and consolidation: obtaining the international ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety) certifications, which join the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) certification it has held since 2015.
This triple certification puts the company in a very select group of organizations in Mozambique with management systems fully aligned with the most demanding international standards.
ISO 14001:2015 attests to the company’s commitment to environmental preservation and reducing the impacts of its operations. ISO 45001:2018 recognizes the existence of a robust occupational health and safety management system, essential in activities with high operational risk. ISO 9001:2015 confirms the consistency and effectiveness of quality management processes throughout the organization.
“This triple certification is an external validation of our management model and a source of pride for our entire team. It reflects the maturity of the organization, the quality of the service we provide daily, and our culture of rigour and continuous improvement,” said CEO of Técnica Industrial, Frederico Jonet. “It is also an important strategic asset that gives us greater competitiveness in demanding sectors such as energy, construction, industry, and mobility.”
This recognition reinforces Técnica Industrial’s position as a national benchmark in engineering, technical services and automotive assistance, demonstrating the excellence of its operational processes, its focus on safety, and its commitment to environmental sustainability.
Técnica Industrial is part of the JFS Group, one of the most prestigious business groups in Mozambique, operating in the energy, rural development, engineering, construction, and automotive sectors.
An official representative of Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, and Mitsubishi, as well as Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, and FAW trucks, Técnica Industrial is positioned as one of the leading players in the automotive business in the country.
The company has consistently invested in training its teams, technological modernization, and the consolidation of an organizational culture focused on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. Achieving these new certifications is the result of rigorous, cross-functional work involving all areas of the company.
