Mozambique: Central bank fines nine financial institutions for violating regulations

Last year, the Mozambique Tax Authority (AT) seized goods and vehicles worth more than 700 million meticais for various tax offences. A total of 659 seizures were made, including 239 cars of various makes and 420 of other goods.
According to Notícias, the commonest tax offences were misuse of exemptions, under-invoicing, using false documents and double registrations.
