The government has granted a special holiday to workers and employees who profess the Muslim faith this Wednesday, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha (the Feast of the Sacrifice).
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security announces that the holiday does not cover workers and employees whose nature of activity does not allow interruption on the grounds of public interest.
Eid-ul-Adha celebrates the pilgrimage of Muslims to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
