Mozambique-South Africa: New operating hours at Ressano Garcia border

Since yesterday, Tuesday June 29, the Ressano Garcia border has being open for those leaving Mozambique for South Africa until 8:00 p.m. only, as a result of adjustment to Covid-19 restriction in that country.
The border was previously open from 6.00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m..
The note explains that the change comes in response to changes in the functioning of their South African counterparts at the Lebombo facilities.
Travelers can enter Mozambique at Ressano Garcia as late as South African authorities are willing to process them, according to a statement issued yesterday by the National Migration Service (SENAMI).
Goods vehicles will however still be able to transit without hindrance in both directions until 11:00 p.m., the note emphasises.
