Mozambique: Sheikh Cassimo David dies

Sheikh Cassimo David died in Maputo Central Hospital of an illness on Saturday (September 4th).
Sheikh Cassimo David distinguished himself as a leader in the Islamic Council of Mozambique, and, among other responsibilities, directed the Polana mosque in Maputo.
In addition to his religious functions, Sheikh Cassimo David nurtured a passion for sports, with an emphasis on soccer, and worked for the Mahafil sports group in Maputo.
