Mozambique: Sasol sponsors ‘Generation Ready’

,Sasol participated in the “Generation Ready”last Friday (14 July 2023), an event that brings together companies from the Private Sector, the Government of Mozambique, Educational Institutions, and young Mozambicans to find sustainable strategies to adapt newly graduated youth to the realities of the labour market, organised by Getenergy Field Ready
Sasol participated in a panel discussion on the development of human capital and the promotion of local employment, where we shared the experience through actions based on our Corporate and Social Responsibility Strategy such as:
- Construction of the Inhassoro Training Centre
- Donation of the Mobile Training Unit for Electricity and Plumbing
- Scholarships for engineering courses in Mozambique and abroad
- Joint Employment Task Forces
In Mozambique, Field Ready is operated in partnership with the Industrial and Commercial Institute of Matola and the Industrial and Commercial Institute of Nampula. The programme has the support of the State Secretariat for Technical and Vocational Education and the National Authority for Professional Education.
