Our leadership demonstrated their personal commitment to social causes as a team of our senior executives, under the direction of the Executive Vice President for Energy Business, Priscillah Mabelane, joined the community in rehabilitating and painting the Temane Primary School, in Inhassoro District on 20 July 2022.
This activity, which was attended by local leaders, teachers and students, aligns with other Sasol efforts in Mozambique, under the Local Development Agreements (LDA), which include the ongoing construction of a water supply system and toilets at the Temane Primary School.
According to the Temane Primary School Director, Agostinho Mulima, Sasol’s support represents an important contribution to the improvement of teaching and learning conditions.
Sasol interventions in the education field also include the MaCarteira Project, recently launched by the Secretary of State in Inhambane Province, Ludmila Magune, which should provide about 3500 desks to schools in the districts of Govuro, Inhassoro and Vilankulo, in addition to several schools being built and/or rehabilitated in various parts of the country, especially in Inhambane province.
