NGO demands 'effective investigation' into post-election killings in Mozambique

The government has clarified that the regulation on the retirement age limit in the state apparatus only covers state agents and employees.
The clarification was given this Tuesday by the spokesperson for the Council of Ministers, Filimão Suázi, at the end of another executive session.
Suázi said that the regulation recently approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance does not cover members of the government.

This Tuesday, the executive also approved the Balance of the Economic and Social Plan and State Budget for the first half of 2024 to be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic.
